Streamline the staking process with the ability to view power distribution maps, create staking sketches, and access all the necessary staking job information.
Our Field Design application gives you the power to inventory and manage your entire electrical distribution system in one simple map viewer. Whether it's designing new service drops, replacing old assets, using GPS to perform map corrections or full-service field inventory collections, this program can be configured to match any unique workflow. Streamline the design process with simple-to-use tools that allow the user to create GPS-accurate sketches, generate robust work order and staking reports, use customized validations to ensure all job and asset information is correct, and provide global insight on all work order information to supervisors. Field Design integrates with any GIS system, so you can keep your inventory up-to-date, and with your CIS and Financial systems to ensure that work orders pass back and forth seamlessly and the correct assembly units are ready for your construction crews to install. Field Design is site-licensed for unlimited user installs and seamless map viewing with geographical data display.
Staker Tools is a tool that will allow administrators/managers to set controls/validations for data entered in work orders. This includes job, location, and unit data validation and can be customized to fit your company’s needs without having to go through Partner Support. These validations can be tested beforehand in a Map Viewer that resides on the CentralHub before committing to your system. A post-config will be required to make the changes available to everyone. Free with our 4.30 Hub upgrade.

This Field Design feature adds five additional mapsets to your Partner Viewer, and allows for a Map Publisher administrator to select jobs based on specific criteria, assign to one of the five mapsets and publish. This gives everyone at your organization a full view of ongoing jobs within your system before they are committed to GIS and in-turn your Partner circuit model. With Staker Proposed Jobs Mapsets, stakers have the ability to expand designs from jobs (work orders) that may stay open for longer periods of time.
Unit variables are treated as attributes to each unit, and may be required by certain work order management systems for pairing material to assembly units after they are staked. If this applies to your organization, this feature allows for those variables to be automatically populated during the design phase. This can greatly speed up the design process and guarantee that staked units carry the necessary data needed by other departments and vendors
Would you like your crews to be able to pull up an estimate for a job from the field? If so, the Basic Field Cost Estimate includes New Material, Retired Material, New Labor and Retired Labor at fixed rates that are defined by the utility. The report itself is generated right along with your staking sheet and other reports. If additional variables are required for costing, then Partner can scope as needed.
Partner sends and receives information from work order management systems at the assembly level only. This report explodes the assemblies into individual materials (i.e., nuts and bolts); typically in order to either print a material pick ticket or to send to a custom warehousing system.
This add-on allows the user to select an assembly component and view PNG diagrams of specifications such as safety standards and other technical details. This or who wants their feature is beneficial for anyone new to staking, or a staker who wants their engineer to double check their designs.
For structural design and analysis, Partner can send jobs to both SPIDA™Calc and AutoDesk AUD™ for all linear and non-linear engineering (line and pole) validation. At the center of this validation sits Spatial Business Solutions™ (SBS), who offer an “Engineering Module” for passing staked designs for analysis in these third party systems.
